IP Transit Service

Unicross provide a Multihomed IP-transit service providing the best route selection for your destination to the Internet with built-in redundancy and fault tolerance, offering carrier-grade service to telecom operators, Internet service providers (ISP), Application Service Providers (ASP), content players, and other users demanding high-quality performance and connectivity into the Internet backbone and major eyeball networks.

Our IP transit services have been created to exclusively meet the demands of high bandwidth customers such as Internet Service Providers (ISP), Telcos and content providers. Unicross’s network has a global footprint, extensive global peering relationships and MPLS-based traffic management to ensure the highest standard of quality for the connectivity we deliver to our customers.

Our professional customer support team, conveniently located in United Kingdom , India and Poland , will make your life easy and ensure that your service lives by our SLA - our commitment to outstanding performance and sustained reliability.

The Unicross Network also offers industry leading network latency, through the careful selection of only the best commercially available fiber paths from many different sources. In many cases we are able to offer up to 20% lower round-trip times than major competitors, allowing customers to improve their network throughput, providing quicker interactive application performance, and higher quality from voice and video applications.

To speed the flow of information directly to its destination, Unicross maintains extensive peering relationships with other major carriers and access providers. Our continuously upgraded network and careful capacity planning ensures that there are no bottlenecks anywhere in our network, and that there is sufficient capacity to handle sudden, unpredictable demand. nLayer currently maintains over 300 Gigabits per second of peering and transit capacity to the Internet, and supports some of the largest traffic sites.

Partial Transit

For those with their own ASN, Unicross also offers Partial Transit. This solution allows you to reach approximately 30% of the internet at a reduced cost, perfect for those with high traffic without the in-house time or expertise to justify direct peering. Partial transit allows you to massively reduce cost and complexity by utilising our peering routes rather than managing your own, at a fraction of the cost of maintaining your own peering relationships and exchange memberships.
